Job Description: Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to lead a large-scale transformation program involving the migration of SAS-based data platforms, ETL processes, reporting solutions, and analytical workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using DBT . The role requires strong leadership, data engineering expertise, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience in cloud-based data modernization initiatives.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, technical governance, migration strategy, architectural oversight, and successful execution of multiple workstreams across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery

Lead end-to-end delivery of SAS to GCP migration programs.
Define migration roadmap, delivery approach, and execution strategy.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
Ensure timely delivery of migration milestones and business objectives.
Drive Agile delivery and release management processes.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical direction for migration from SAS datasets, SAS ETL, SAS macros, and reporting solutions.
Review and approve solution architectures, data models, and transformation designs.
Establish migration standards, coding standards, and best practices.
Guide teams on cloud-native architecture and modernization opportunities.

Data Engineering Oversight

Oversee development of data pipelines using GCP services and DBT.
Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.
Lead design reviews for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and reporting layers.
Drive implementation of data quality, lineage, and reconciliation frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary technical point of contact for business and technology stakeholders.
Collaborate with architecture, regulatory, risk, compliance, and operational teams.
Present project status, risks, and technical recommendations to senior leadership.
Manage vendor and third-party engagements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. 8-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
