Job Description: Service Engineer (Air Compressors)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer specializing in air compressors to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of air compressor systems for our clients. You will ensure the efficient operation and performance of compressors, providing technical support and expertise to our customers.
Reciprocating Compressor service knowledge is must.

Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Commissioning:
- Install new air compressor systems at client sites according to specifications.
- Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure proper functioning.

2. Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform scheduled maintenance on air compressors to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.

3. Troubleshooting:
- Respond to service calls and diagnose issues promptly.
- Implement corrective actions to restore equipment to operational status.

4. Customer Support:
- Provide technical assistance and advice to customers on compressor operation and maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on proper usage and maintenance practices.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, inventory, and maintenance tasks.
- Generate service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and recommendations.

6. Quality and Safety:
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards during all service operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and standards.

Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in servicing air compressors or related equipment.

- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of air compressor systems, including reciprocating, rotary screw, and centrifugal types.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
- Familiarity with compressor control systems and PLCs.

- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Certifications: Preferred certifications in compressor maintenance or relevant technical certifications.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
