The Draftsmen will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 2D models for mechanical and civil engineering equipment using AutoCAD 2D/3D. The role demands close coordination with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and adhere to company standards. The position also includes preparing essential documentation, layout drawings, and providing support for project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Drawing & Layout Creation:

Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 2D models of mechanical equipment designs using AutoCAD 2D/3D

Develop design drawings based on measurements, specifications, and data provided by engineers.

Ensure all technical drawings are accurate, up to date, and meet required standards.
Data Collection & Integration:

Gather initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas from engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Combine all relevant data into complete, coherent initial design models, ready for review and modification.
Collaboration & Coordination:

Coordinate with design engineers and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of project requirements.

Verify design details and suggest modifications or improvements according to company standards and best practices.

Regularly meet with engineers to review designs and provide input for optimising solutions.
Detailed Engineering Drawings:

Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, including structural, mechanical, and piping layouts.

Ensure that piping layout drawings are complete with accurate specifications and include Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for pipes and fittings.
Equipment & Plant Room Layout:

Create complete equipment layouts and plant room drawings for all types of engineering projects.

Ensure layouts reflect the most efficient and effective use of space and comply with safety standards.
Documentation Preparation:

Prepare essential project documentation, such as:

Datasheets for equipment and materials.
-
Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

As-built drawings for final project implementation.

Operation manuals that include detailed instructions for the use and maintenance of equipment.
Quality Assurance:

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and documentation.

Regularly review and revise designs to ensure they meet the necessary safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Problem Solving & Design Optimisation:

Identify design issues or inefficiencies and provide creative, cost-effective solutions.

Continuously work to improve engineering processes for better productivity and cost savings.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and consultants to discuss design, drawings, and project modifications.

Participate in design reviews, ensuring that all technical specifications align with client requirements.
Project Support:

Provide ongoing support to the project team, ensuring that drawings and documentation are up to date and align with project milestones.

Track the progress of drawings, making sure they are completed on time to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Software Operating Skill:
