Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop 2D/3D piping layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autocad.
- Generate Piping Isometrics, GA Drawings, P&IDs, and As-Built Drawings.
- Develop and update 3D piping models using Autocad, AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Perform pipe routing for process and utility piping systems as per P&IDs and GA drawings.
- Model equipment including pumps, vessels, exchangers, tanks, and skids based on mechanical data sheets.
- Generate piping isometrics, orthographic drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare and update Main Bore GA drawings from latest design inputs.
- Revise and maintain spool drawings based on updated project models.
- Update skid drill hole details and layouts as per project modifications.
- Perform handrail detailing and platform detailing activities.
- Prepare Structural Bolt MTO, BOM, and Platform Index documents.
- Carry out branch connection support modelling and detailing.
- Extract MTO/BOM from models and drawings.
- Coordinate with piping, structural, layout, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Update drawings based on client comments and engineering revisions.
- Maintain CAD layers, drawing standards, and project documentation.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with ASME standards and project specifications.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD 2D/3D

- Autodesk Inventor
- Navisworks
- Basic knowledge of pipe supports and structures
- Piping Layout & Routing, Pipe Support Detailing, Isometric Extraction
- GA & Spool Drawings, Equipment Modeling, MTO/BOM Preparation
- P&ID Interpretation
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas / EPC project workflows.
Qualification
- 2 to 3 years' experience into Piping Designer.
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or related discipline.
- Relevant piping design certification is an added advantage.
