ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Developer with expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and Python to join our founding engineering team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Frontend Development (React.js)
- Build Responsive UIs: Develop pixel-perfect, mobile-first, and responsive user interfaces using React.js and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material-UI).
- State Management: Implement robust state management using Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
- Component Architecture: Design reusable, modular, and maintainable React components.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance using lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, and efficient rendering.
- API Integration: Seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with frontend applications.
- User Experience: Collaborate with designers to create intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences.
- Real-Time Features: Implement real-time features using WebSockets () for live dashboards, chat, and interactive learning.
2. Backend Development (Node.js + Python)
- API Development: Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints using Node.js (Express.js) and Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
- Microservices Architecture: Build and maintain microservices for modular, scalable system design.
- Authentication & Authorization: Implement secure authentication (JWT, OAuth2, SSO) and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Business Logic: Develop core business logic for educational platforms (exam engines, content management, user progress tracking) and spiritual platforms (meditation sessions, content delivery).
- Third-Party Integrations: Integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, cloud storage, email/SMS services, AI/ML APIs).
- Caching & Queuing: Implement caching (Redis) and message queuing (RabbitMQ, Bull) for performance and scalability.
3. Database Management (MongoDB + SQL)
- Database Design: Design efficient, scalable database schemas for MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL/MySQL (SQL).
- Query Optimization: Write optimized queries, use indexing, and implement aggregation pipelines for performance.
- Data Modeling: Create data models for educational content, user profiles, exam data, meditation sessions, and analytics.
- Data Migration: Handle data migration, backup, and recovery processes.
- ORM/ODM: Work with Mongoose (MongoDB) and SQLAlchemy / Prisma / Sequelize (SQL).
4. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Cloud Deployment: Deploy applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other cloud services.
- Containerization: Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging (ELK stack, Sentry) for application health and observability.
- Version Control: Manage code using Git and GitHub/GitLab with proper branching strategies.
5. AI/ML Integration (Python)
- AI Model Integration: Work closely with AIML engineers to integrate AI models (LLMs, recommendation engines, NLP models) into web applications.
- RAG Pipelines: Assist in building and exposing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines as APIs.
- Data Processing: Use Python for data processing, ETL pipelines, and data validation.
- Automation Scripts: Write Python scripts for automation of content ingestion, data cleaning, and report generation.
6. Product Development & Collaboration
- Agile Development: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
- Documentation: Write clear technical documentation (API docs, architecture diagrams, setup guides).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, AIML engineers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
7. Performance, Scale & Security
- Scalability: Build applications capable of handling millions of concurrent users.
- Security: Implement security best practices (input sanitization, XSS/CSRF protection, encryption, secure headers).
- Load Testing: Conduct load testing and performance benchmarking to ensure high availability.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize application performance (server response times, database queries, frontend load times).
