Spacewood office Solutions Pvt Ltd ( office furniture vertical of Spacewood Group), is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to Head & manage financial planning, taxation, compliance, and cost control.
Spacewood office Solutions is B2B company having turnover of 200 Cr. It is a growing compnay attracting strategic investment in near future.
The position is based out of Nagpur HO & reports to Founder & Managing Director . It shall be sell supported by accounts and commercial team.
The Commercial Head will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s commercial function, ensuring efficient handling of procurement, contract management, cost control, vendor relations, billing coordination, and commercial compliance. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business operations across all locations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Commercial Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end commercial activities including procurement, purchase planning, contract management, and commercial documentation.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, work orders, agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Monitor and optimize commercial workflows for smooth business operations.
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost-effective sourcing.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers as per company requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with vendors.
- Ensure vendor performance tracking and relationship management.
3. Costing & Budget Control
- Monitor commercial budgets and ensure cost optimization.
- Review product/service costing, pricing structures, and expenditure.
- Work closely with finance to ensure budget adherence and profitability.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Maintain strong coordination with Pan India sales, production, project execution, and accounts teams to ensure seamless commercial operations across all locations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for timely execution of orders, dispatches, and project requirements.
- Support management with commercial insights for strategic decisions.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all commercial transactions comply with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Review contracts, purchase terms, and business agreements for legal and commercial risks.
- Maintain proper records of commercial documentation and audits.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the commercial team.
- Establish SOPs and best practices for the department.
- Drive performance improvements and operational efficiency.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Engineering / Management
- MBA / PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, procurement, or supply chain
- Experience in manufacturing, interiors, furniture, or project-based industries preferred
