We’re hiring a Line Cook for a premium American Italian restaurant in Mumbai. Think fresh pasta, wood-fired elements, clean sauces, sharp plating, intense services, and a kitchen that takes standards seriously.
This is not a “hotel style” setup.
This is a modern restaurant kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running and owning your section during prep + service
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, consistency, and speed
- Working closely with senior chefs during live service
- Handling prep, stocks, sauces, butchery, garnishes, and plating
- Understanding timing, communication, and kitchen coordination
- Contributing ideas, discipline, and professionalism to the team
What We’re Looking ForMandatory:
- Minimum 6 months kitchen experience outside India
- Experience in professional western / Italian / modern dining kitchens
- Strong understanding of mise en place and service rhythm
- Ability to work clean, fast, and organized
- Team player with a sharp attitude and hunger to grow
Bonus Points If:
- You’ve worked wood fire, grill, pasta, or garde manger
- You have Michelin star exposure
- You understand modern plating aesthetics
- You’ve worked high-volume premium restaurants
