Position: HR Manager – Night Shift
Location: Mohali, Punjab

Working Days: Monday to Friday

About the Role
Digimedicus is looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations for our US healthcare and medical billing organization.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a medical billing, healthcare BPO, RCM, KPO, or US-process environment. The candidate should be comfortable working independently during the night shift and handling employee-related matters in a professional and confidential manner.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for employees working in the US night shift.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions and separation.
- Ensure timely completion of joining and exit formalities.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidential employee information and documentation.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment for medical billing/RCM and support functions.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with department managers.
- Prepare and coordinate offer letters, appointment letters and joining documentation.
- Conduct employee induction and onboarding.
- Coordinate background verification and other pre-employment requirements, where applicable.
3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll
- Monitor employee attendance, shifts, late marks, absences and leave.
- Maintain accurate attendance and leave records.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the payroll/accounts team.
- Address employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave and benefits.
- Ensure timely and accurate HR inputs for payroll processing.
4. Employee Relations
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employee-related matters.
- Handle employee grievances and concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Support managers in addressing performance and disciplinary matters.
- Promote a positive and professional workplace environment.
- Conduct employee engagement activities where required.
5. Performance Management
- Coordinate periodic employee performance evaluations.
- Ensure managers complete performance evaluations within the defined review cycle.
- Maintain appraisal and performance records.
- Coordinate performance improvement plans where required.
- Follow up on employee development and performance objectives.
6. HR Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain HR records and documentation required for statutory and organizational compliance.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, professional tax and other applicable employment compliance requirements.
- Ensure required employee documents and acknowledgements are maintained.
- Support internal and external audits relating to HR and workforce compliance.
- Maintain proper records of employee joining, employment and separation.
7. HIPAA & Information Security Responsibilities
- Ensure employees understand and comply with company confidentiality and information-security requirements.
- Support HIPAA-related workforce documentation and compliance activities.
- Maintain records of required security/privacy awareness training.
- Ensure employees acknowledge applicable confidentiality, security and acceptable-use policies.
- Escalate employee-related confidentiality or security concerns to management and IT.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality of employee and client information.
8. Night Shift HR Administration
- Provide HR support during the night shift.
- Coordinate with department managers and team leads regarding attendance, staffing and employee issues.
- Address urgent employee concerns during the shift.
- Monitor workplace discipline and professional conduct.
- Coordinate with administration/security for night-shift requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with management and department leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–3 years of HR experience.
- Experience in a medical billing, healthcare BPO, RCM, KPO or US-process environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with attendance and payroll coordination.
- Working knowledge of HRMS/payroll software; greytHR experience will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a US healthcare/medical billing or RCM organization.
- Understanding of HIPAA and information-security requirements.
- Experience managing employees working US shifts.
- Knowledge of Indian employment and payroll compliance.
- Experience with performance management and employee disciplinary processes.
- Experience supporting ISO 27001 or similar compliance/audit requirements.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who can independently manage HR operations, communicate effectively with employees and managers, maintain accurate HR documentation, and handle employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Candidates with experience in medical billing, healthcare BPO, RCM or US healthcare operations will be given preference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
