Position Overview
Bless Haul is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing US domestic freight operations, sourcing and negotiating loads, coordinating with carriers and customers, and ensuring seamless shipment execution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and secure freight loads from shippers, brokers, and customers.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to maximize profitability.
- Manage and coordinate US domestic freight shipments, including FTL (Full Truckload) and LTL (Less Than Truckload).
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and dispatch teams to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Track shipments, provide regular status updates, and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
- Prepare operational and performance reports while ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Freight Broker,Logistics Coordinator, or in US logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of US domestic transportation, including FTL and LTL operations.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.), TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work US night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with US-based customers, carriers, or freight brokers.
- Established carrier network and freight brokerage experience.
- Familiarity with freight tracking, dispatch operations, and shipment coordination.
- Experience with logistics software and reporting tools.
