Position Overview
This position supports the RI Programs and Service team, which includes RI Programs, volunteer-led service, alumni engagement, service and project partnerships, and special projects related to member engagement and impact. You will work with colleagues and volunteer members, and your contributions will span across the operations of the portfolio and the team’s commitments to deliver on Rotary’s Strategic Plan.
You Will Have
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of three years’ experience providing administrative support to departments or programs or a related field (i.e. volunteer engagement, non-profit management)
- Mastery of Microsoft products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience analyzing data, synthesizing information, and identifying trends
- Ability to develop materials and correspondence based upon broad guidance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- International experience either through work, study, or volunteering
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- Professional communication skills in a second language is preferred

You Will Be Responsible For
Supporting RI Programs
- Processing programmatic chartering, replacement, and termination requests for the regional and RI World Headquarters
- Supporting members, participant, and alumni with chartering and program-related inquiries
- Maintaining data quality around RI programs and program participants
- Supporting program participant data reporting and assisting with related inquiries
- Collaborating on and supporting future processes for revenue-generating opportunities related to RI Programs
- Identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities, and collaborating with the appropriate colleagues on improvements.
- Helping manage inboxes to triage inquiries and respond to general questions related to RI Programs
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Working with the RI Programs Manager to coordinate data collection efforts.
- Analyzing collected data, identifying insights and trends and collaborating on reports with findings.
- Assisting with other special projects as assigned.
Events Support
- As requested, representing the RI Programs and Service portfolio at virtual and in-person regional events
- Assisting with webinar logistics and related e-learning opportunities
- Recording notes for Committee meetings, constituent group meetings, staff meetings;
- Serving as a base of information and coordination of activities for RI Programs & Service;
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Distribution of Work
60% of the work for this position will be dedicated to global RI Programs and Service support, and 40% will be dedicated to regional programs and service support, including relationship-building.
