About the role
Build and maintain our loyalty/ERP web apps: PHP backends and React-based frontends. You’ll ship clean, secure features end-to-end and modernize legacy jQuery screens over time.
Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful modules in PHP (OOP/MVC) and MySQL (schemas, queries, indexes).
- Build responsive UIs with React.js (hooks, functional components), HTML/CSS, AJAX/fetch.
- Consume internal/external APIs (auth, payments, WhatsApp/SMS, file uploads).
- Migrate/maintain legacy jQuery views where needed; improve UX progressively.
- Write reusable components, handle forms/validation, and state (hooks/Context).
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser support.
- Use Git; collaborate via tickets/sprints; participate in code reviews.
Must-have skills
- 1+ year professional PHP (OOP; any MVC like Laravel/CodeIgniter a plus).
- Strong HTML5/CSS3/JS (ES6+), AJAX, jQuery basics.
- Solid MySQL (joins, indexes, transactions).
- API integration (REST/JSON), debugging tools, and Git CLI.
Nice to have
- Laravel/CodeIgniter, Composer; Node/npm, Vite/Webpack.
- UI frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind, or Similar, MUI/Ant optional).
- Testing (PHPUnit/Jest), Postman; basic Linux/cPanel.
- Payment gateways, WhatsApp BSP integrations.
Work setup
- Remote-first; Slack/Meet collaboration.
- Core overlap: 10:00–19:00 IST (flexible outside).
