Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Travel Operations Executive to join our growing team. You will be the operational backbone of our client service delivery, supporting both our FIT and Group Tours departments.
This role focuses entirely on travel fulfilment — ensuring bookings, supplier coordination, and travel documentation are executed flawlessly from confirmation to departure.
Key Responsibilities: Booking Fulfilment & Reservations
- Process and confirm reservations for hotels, flights, transport, and outdoor activities using internal booking systems
- Ensure accurate and timely booking confirmation for all FIT and group travel programs
- Maintain booking records and update internal trackers regularly
Supplier Coordination
- Handle active coordination with local and international travel vendors and suppliers
- Support contracting, rate negotiations, and operational alignment with vendors
- Follow up on confirmations, amendments, and cancellations with suppliers
Travel Documentation & Logistics
- Generate and issue accurate travel vouchers, daily itineraries, and flight tickets as per confirmed client schedules
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time
- Coordinate with the sales team for a smooth handoff from booking to execution
Visa Support
- Assist the team with visa processing, document tracking, and timeline management
- Ensure compliance with travel regulations for domestic and international itineraries
Financial Tracking
- Assist with operational invoicing, supplier payment tracking, and transaction records
- Maintain accurate financial records for all bookings and vendor payments
Front-Office Support
- Serve as the primary back-end support for the holiday consulting and sales teams
- Ensure a smooth and seamless handoff from sales to operations to execution
Candidate ProfileRequired
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in travel backend operations, tour operations, booking & reservations, or travel consulting
- Working knowledge of domestic and international itineraries, flight ticketing, and visa regulations
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel for tracking and MS Word for documentation)
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative team spirit
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred
- Degree or certification in Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Prior experience in FIT operations, group tour operations, or travel backend roles
- Familiarity with GDS systems, travel booking platforms, or tour management software
- Interest in wildlife, adventure, eco-tourism, or experiential travel
Pay: ₹260,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
