Job Summary
The F&B Steward is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to guests while ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to the hotel's service standards. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional dining experience and maintaining guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus and provide accurate information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take guest orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set before service and cleared promptly after use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, service stations, and dining areas.
- Refill water, condiments, and other guest requirements proactively.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain proper grooming and wear the prescribed uniform during duty hours.
- Support banquet, IRD, and special events whenever required.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including mise en place and equipment checks.
- Promote menu specials and upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Comply with all hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Certification in Food & Beverage Service is an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or banquet operation.
- Freshers with relevant hospitality training may also apply.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
