Job Summary
A Physician Assistant (PA) in Neurosurgery and Nephrology assists consultants in patient assessment, clinical procedures, treatment planning, post-operative care, dialysis-related management, and overall coordination of patient care. The PA supports both inpatient and outpatient services while ensuring high-quality clinical care and documentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesNeurosurgery Responsibilities
- Assist neurosurgeons during ward rounds, surgeries, and emergency procedures
- Monitor neurological status and vital signs of patients
- Prepare patients for neurosurgical procedures and post-operative care
- Assist in managing trauma, stroke, spine, and brain tumor cases
- Maintain clinical documentation and patient progress records
- Coordinate investigations like CT, MRI, and laboratory tests
Nephrology Responsibilities
- Assist nephrologists in dialysis and renal care management
- Monitor patients undergoing hemodialysis or renal procedures
- Assess fluid balance, intake-output charts, and renal function reports
- Educate patients regarding dialysis care, diet, and medications
- Assist in handling renal emergencies and critical care patients
- Coordinate laboratory investigations and follow-up care
General Responsibilities
- Maintain patient records and treatment documentation
- Support emergency and critical care management
- Communicate with patients, attenders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
- Assist in OPD, IPD, ICU, and procedure-related activities
Required Skills
- Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
- Knowledge of neurosurgical and nephrology procedures

- Documentation and EMR handling
- Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant / Allied Health Sciences
- Specialization or exposure in Neurosurgery or Nephrology preferred
Experience
- Freshers can apply
- 1–3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
