Production Supervisor – Polymer Insulators

Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our polymer insulator manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day production operations, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality, and managing machine setup and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in rubber moulding, especially with DESMA moulding machines, is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete production activities in the polymer insulator plant
- Plan and monitor daily production to achieve targets
- Perform mould setting, mould changeover, and machine parameter settings
- Operate and troubleshoot DESMA rubber moulding machines
- Identify and resolve issues such as moulding defects, flash, curing issues, rubber flow problems, and bonding issues
- Reduce rejection and material wastage
- Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, Purchase, and Stores for smooth production
- Maintain production reports and shift records
- Supervise operators and helpers on the shop floor
- Ensure safety, discipline, and process adherence
Required Skills
- Experience in polymer insulator / rubber moulding production
- Good knowledge of HTV silicone rubber moulding process
- Strong hands-on experience in mould setting and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with DESMA moulding machines is preferred
- Ability to handle production independently
Qualification
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Polymer / Rubber Technology or related field
Experience
- 3–5 years relevant experience in polymer/rubber moulding industry
Preferred Candidate
- Immediate joiners preferred
- Candidates from polymer insulator / silicone rubber / electrical products industry preferred
- Must be proactive and capable of handling shop-floor operations independently
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
