Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and confident Sales Intern who understands paid sponsorships, brand collaborations, and partnership outreach. The candidate should have prior experience in any sales-related role, internship, freelancing, or business development activity.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with brands, pitching collaboration opportunities, and helping generate sponsorship revenue for our media properties and shows.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to brands, startups, agencies, and potential sponsors
- Pitch paid sponsorship and brand collaboration opportunities
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, and networking
- Assist in sponsorship sales conversations and follow-ups
- Maintain lead databases and sales pipelines
- Coordinate with internal teams for partnership execution
- Help close brand deals and revenue opportunities
- Research market trends and potential sponsor categories
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales, business development, sponsorships, or client handling
- Basic understanding of paid sponsorships and brand partnerships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident in pitching and relationship building
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and professional communication
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in media, influencer marketing, events, or advertising sales
- Existing network of brands/agencies is a plus
- Pursuing or completed graduation in Business, Marketing, Media, or related fields
