Shraddha Children's Academy (CBSE) is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and qualified Part-Time Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs and promote an inclusive learning environment.
Position : Part-Time Special Educator
Location : ECR, Kottivakkam, Chennai
Employment Type : Part-Time
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education.
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) Registration is Mandatory.
- Certification in Special Education recognized by RCI.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Special Educator in a school setting.
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, and other special needs will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students with special educational needs and prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide individualized and small-group intervention sessions.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement inclusive teaching strategies.
- Support students with academic, behavioural, and social development.
- Maintain student progress records and prepare assessment reports.
- Guide parents on intervention strategies and home support.
- Coordinate with school leadership and external professionals whenever required.
