Job Description Summary:
In this role, the Software Test Engineer will be responsible for testing of Software Functions/Algorithms and also help the team to develop required automation framework to run the tests automatically.
This opportunity will be in a fast-paced start-up like environment within a Fortune 500 Organization.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for feature Code development, bug fix code implementation and integration.
- Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations(local as well as international).
- Work with Embedded Hardware and validate the software function
- Debugging embedded software on target using test bench/ In-circuit emulator/Lauterbach tool.
Essential Requirements / Skills: • Good knowledge of C language, Embedded C coding
- Good understanding of the Embedded controller concepts
- Knowledge of Electronic circuits, Microcontroller, ASIC, Interrupts concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence
- Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen Interest in design, testing of Software for Embedded systems
- Knowledge/skills on using MATLAB/Simulink.
Desirable Requirements / Skills: • Good conceptual understanding of the university syllabus topics and good functional explanation of the same.
