Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
Our client, a growing engineering and manufacturing organization, is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join their team. The role involves product design, engineering documentation, manufacturing support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills Required
- AutoCAD (2D Drafting)
- SolidWorks
- 3D Modelling and Assembly Design
- Manufacturing & Fabrication Drawings
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Preparation
- Design Documentation
- Knowledge of Mechanical Components
- Engineering Standards and Tolerances
- Coordination with Production and Vendors
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Create manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation
- Support product development and design improvements
- Coordinate with production teams and vendors
- Review and modify drawings based on project requirements
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and quality requirements
- Maintain technical records and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines
