Role Overview
The Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing high-quality content that supports marketing initiatives across digital channels. The ideal candidate must be a strong storyteller with expertise in written communication, digital content strategy, visual storytelling, and audience engagement. This role requires someone who can translate complex EHS offerings into clear, engaging, and persuasive content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy:
- Develop compelling content for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, social media, ad creatives, brochures, and marketing collateral
- Create engaging copy tailored to various audience segments
- Build and execute content calendars aligned with marketing goals and campaigns timelines
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital touch points
Written Communication:
- Write clear, persuasive, and audience-centric marketing copy
- Draft campaign messaging, product descriptions, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
Verbal Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scripts for presentations, video content, and sales materials
- Support internal communication needs through messaging frameworks and presentations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative communication ideas
Visual Communication:
- Conceptual content for visual formats, including social media creatives, videos, info-graphics, presentations, and digital ads
- Work closely with designers to bring campaigns to life
- Ensure visual storytelling aligns with brand identity and audience expectations
Digital Platform Management
- Optimize content for digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and paid campaigns
- Adapt messaging for platform-specific best practices
- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics
Research & Market Insight
- Stay updated on EHS trends, digital content best practices, and competitor communication strategies
- Conduct audience research to create relevant, high-impact messaging
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in content creation, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content formats
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization
- Strong storytelling and creative thinking abilities
