We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, automating our deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our applications.
You will work closely with our software engineering teams (focused on Java/Spring Boot) to streamline release cycles, manage secrets securely, and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure.

✔️ CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate testing and deployment.
✔️ Containerization & Orchestration: Package applications into Docker containers and manage multi-container deployments using Kubernetes clusters.
✔️ Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Management: Provisions, configure, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS.
✔️ Security & Secrets Management: Implement and manage security best practices, specifically handling environment variables and credentials using AWS Secrets Manager.
✔️ Version Control & Branching: Manage and optimize repository workflows, branching strategies, and access controls using GitHub or Bitbucket.
✔️ Networking & Security: Configure and maintain cloud networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, load balancers, and firewalls.
Required Core Skills:
✔️ Cloud Platform: 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, EKS).
✔️ Containers: Strong experience with Docker (writing Dockerfiles, optimizing images) and Kubernetes (pod management, services, deployments).
✔️ CI/CD Tools: Proficient in building workflows with GitHub Actions and/or managing Jenkins pipelines.
✔️ Secrets Management: Experience securing application configurations using AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault.
✔️ Networking: Solid understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing, VPNs).
✔️ Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git workflows using GitHub or Bitbucket.
✔️ Databases: Ability to write and understand SQL queries, and manage relational database deployments.
✔️ Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages for automation.
Soft Skills & Experience:
✔️ Experience Level: 3+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role.
✔️ Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills across networks, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
✔️ Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams.
Preferred Certifications (Any of the following is a strong plus):
✔️ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
✔️ Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
✔️ GitHub Actions or Jenkins certifications
✔️ AWS Certified Security – Specialty (reflecting strength in Secret Manager and IAM)
