Delivery Executive
Job Summary
The Delivery Executive is responsible for delivering stocks to retail outlets based on system-generated invoices and pick lists. The role includes stock handling, timely delivery, cash collection, SRN handling, and ensuring proper documentation during delivery operations.
The candidate should ensure safe transportation of goods, accurate cash handling, and smooth coordination with the logistics and finance teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesStock Handling & Loading
- Perform stock counting case-wise and piece-wise as per pick list.
- Load stocks into the delivery vehicle following proper loading procedures.
- Ensure stock accuracy during loading and unloading activities.
Delivery Operations
- Deliver stocks to customers as per invoice/bill details.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery to retail outlets.
- Maintain proper delivery records and acknowledgements.
Cash & Documentation Handling
- Collect cash payments and credit acknowledgements from customers.
- Collect SRN (Stock Receipt Notes) from customers wherever applicable.
- Return collected cash and documents safely to the branch.
Branch Submission
- Deposit collected cash with the cashier.
- Submit SRNs and related documents to the Logistics Incharge.
- Follow company SOPs for damage collection and return procedures.
Eligibility CriteriaEducation
- 10th / 12th / Diploma / Any Degree.
Experience
- Experience in delivery, logistics, FMCG distribution, or transportation preferred.
- Freshers with good attitude and willingness to work can also apply.
Required SkillsDelivery & Logistics Skills
- Good knowledge of stock handling and delivery process.
- Ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
Technical Skills
- Comfortable using Android mobile phones for delivery updates and documentation.
- Ability to read and understand invoices/bills.
Communication Skills
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with logistics and branch teams.
Physical Fitness
- Physically fit to handle loading and delivery activities.
Basic Accounting & Cash Handling
- Basic math skills for cash collection and bill verification.
- Responsible handling of collected cash and documents.
Driving Skills
- Valid Driving License preferred.
- Safe driving practices and road safety awareness.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Responsible and disciplined individual.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
