Job Title: Vendor Management & IT Support Executive
Location: Kothrud, Pune, India
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end vendor operations while also supporting day-to-day IT infrastructure needs. This role requires strong coordination skills, commercial understanding, and hands-on IT knowledge to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management:
- Manage the complete vendor lifecycle: vendor identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance tracking
- Conduct vendor negotiations to ensure cost optimization and service quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
- Identify new vendors based on business and IT infrastructure requirements
- Ensure vendors meet agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Procurement & Commercial Operations:
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Track approvals and coordinate with internal teams for timely processing
- Work closely with the accounts/finance team for invoice validation and payments
- Follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and closure
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all procurement activities
- IT Infrastructure Coordination:
- Understand and support IT infrastructure requirements (hardware, software, networking, security tools)
- Coordinate with IT vendors for procurement, deployment, and issue resolution
- Assist in evaluating IT solutions and vendors based on business needs
- Support IT asset lifecycle management (procurement → allocation → tracking → disposal)
- IT Support:
- Provide Level 1 & 2 IT support for end users (laptops, desktops, printers, basic networking issues)
- Assist in user onboarding/offboarding:
- System setup (laptop configuration, software installation)
- Email and access provisioning (Microsoft 365, VPN, internal tools)
- Support password resets, access issues, and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with IT/security teams for resolving escalated issues
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory and user allocation records
- Assist in software installation, patch updates, and license tracking
- Help monitor and follow up on endpoint security tools (antivirus, patches, updates)
- Provide support for remote user issues
- Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity checks)
- Ensure adherence to IT and security policies during user setup and access changes
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and AMC support
- Maintain basic documentation for IT processes and issue resolutions
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management / procurement / IT coordination
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure (systems, networking, software tools)
- Experience in PO creation, invoicing, and payment coordination
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation
