Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
- Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure material availability.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, invoices, and vendor databases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality concerns, or supplier disputes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends, new suppliers, and industry developments.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase analyses, and management summaries.
