# Job Description – RAC Technician
**Position:** RAC Technician (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
**Location:** Delhi NCR
**Experience:** 0–1 Year
**Age Limit:** **18–30 Years**
**Qualification:**
* ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC)
* ITI Electrician / Wireman (Preferred)
* Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical
* Freshers can also apply
### Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in Split AC, Window AC, Cassette AC, VRV/VRF, and Central Air Conditioning systems.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Install and repair refrigeration units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling systems.
* Check refrigerant gas pressure, identify leakage, and carry out gas charging and recovery.
* Maintain electrical wiring, control panels, thermostats, and HVAC components.
* Ensure proper system performance and energy efficiency.
* Follow safety standards and company procedures during installation and maintenance.
* Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
### Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
* Understanding of HVAC components and electrical wiring.
* Ability to use testing tools and service equipment.
* Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals.
* Willingness to travel and work at customer/project sites.
### Preferred Skills
* Experience with VRV/VRF, Chillers, AHU, FCU, and Ductable AC systems.
* Knowledge of refrigerants such as R22, R32, R410A, and R134a.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
### Salary
