Position: ICU Registrar
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Jupiter Hospital, Dombivli
Job Summary:
The ICU Registrar is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, emergency management, coordination with consultants, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, and resuscitation as per clinical competency.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code blue situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Counsel patients' relatives regarding the patient's condition and treatment plan under consultant guidance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control policies, and quality standards.
- Participate in academic activities, clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.
Qualification:
- MBBS with MD/DNB (Medicine, Anaesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Critical Care) or equivalent qualification as per hospital requirements.
- Valid State Medical Council/NMC registration.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit or Critical Care setting is preferred.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
