Job Description
Reliant Group of Institutions is looking for an experienced English & Professional Development Faculty member for our Kollam branch. We are seeking a seasoned professional who can train and groom students to meet industry standards — equipping them with the communication skills, professional presence, and workplace readiness needed to succeed in their careers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver English language and business communication training tailored to workplace and industry contexts
- Conduct professional profile development sessions to help students build a strong career identity
- Train students on resume and CV preparation aligned with industry expectations
- Facilitate professional email drafting sessions covering corporate tone, structure, and business etiquette
- Organise and lead Group Discussion (GD) and debate sessions to build confidence, critical thinking, and articulation
- Conduct language improvement sessions focused on business vocabulary, fluency, and professional pronunciation
- Simulate real workplace communication scenarios through role-plays and mock interactions
- Maintain session records and student progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in professional training, corporate communication, or soft skills development for working professionals or industry-bound graduates
- Strong understanding of workplace communication standards and industry expectations
- Hands-on experience conducting resume writing, GD, and business communication workshops
- Excellent command of spoken and written English with a professional, confident delivery style
- Ability to engage, challenge, and mentor adult learners effectively
- Flexibility to work according to the scheduled timetable
Preferred
- Candidates with IELTS/CELTA/TEFL or corporate training certifications preferred
