Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Executive (Raw Material & Packaging Material) to manage inventory, material receipts, storage, issuance, and documentation at our Ayurveda manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, GMP practices, and regulatory compliance to ensure uninterrupted production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) against purchase orders and approved specifications.
- Ensure proper storage of materials in accordance with GMP guidelines and FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
- Issue RM and PM to the Production department based on approved Material Requisition Notes (MRNs).
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, stock registers, and ERP/manual inventory entries.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchase department to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation and physical inventory verification.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for material sampling, approval, and release.
- Ensure proper labeling, segregation, traceability, and identification of all stored materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper housekeeping within the store area.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), stock reports, and other store-related documentation.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections by maintaining complete and accurate records.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials to management.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, warehouse procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchase, QA, QC, and Finance departments for efficient material flow and inventory management.
Desired Skills
- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of GMP, SOPs, FIFO, and FEFO inventory systems.
- Basic knowledge of ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
