Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Assistant Factory HR To lead all HR functions at the plant level. The role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, statutory compliance, industrial relations, manpower planning, and employee engagement while ensuring smooth workforce management and alignment with business goals
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment
Develop and execute manpower planning strategies for the factory
Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (Operators, Technicians, Supervisors, Staff)
Manage contract labour hiring and vendor coordination
Ensure optimum manpower utilization and cost control
2. HR Operations & Payroll
Oversee attendance management, shift planning, and leave records
Ensure accurate payroll processing, including overtime, incentives, and deductions
Maintain employee master data and HR documentation
Implement and monitor HR policies and SOPs
3. Statutory Compliance & Legal
Ensure full compliance with all applicable labour laws and factory regulations, including:
PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity
Factory Act, Minimum Wages Act
Contract Labour Act
Handle government inspections, audits, and statutory filings
Liaise with labour departments and statutory authorities
4. Industrial Relations (IR)
Maintain cordial industrial relations within the plant
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Manage union interactions and negotiations (if applicable)
Drive a positive work culture and minimize disputes
5. Training & Development
Identify and implement training and development programs
Drive skill enhancement initiatives for workers and staff
Ensure proper onboarding and induction processes
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Lead employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention
Ensure effective implementation of welfare activities (canteen, transport, safety, etc.)
Promote a safe and compliant work environment
7. Performance Management
Drive performance appraisal systems for factory employees
Monitor productivity and coordinate with departments for improvement plans
8. HR MIS & Reporting
Prepare and present HR dashboards and reports (attrition, absenteeism, productivity, etc.)
Provide insights and recommendations to management
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: MBA / MSW in HR or equivalent
Experience: 3-5 Years of experience in Manufacturing
Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Agro / Chemical / Bio-based industries
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
