The Modular Interior Cutlist Executive is responsible for preparing accurate cutlists, optimizing material usage, and generating production-ready documentation for modular furniture manufacturing. The role involves converting approved design drawings into detailed manufacturing data to ensure smooth factory production and error-free installation.
## Key Responsibilities
* Study approved design drawings and production drawings.
* Prepare detailed cutlists for wardrobes, kitchens, TV units, lofts, vanities, study units, crockery units, and other modular furniture.
* Generate panel-wise dimensions with accurate thickness, edge banding, groove details, drilling locations, and hardware requirements.
* Prepare CNC-ready or machine-friendly cutting data (where applicable).
* Optimize sheet utilization to minimize material wastage.
* Verify dimensions before releasing cutlists for production.
* Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Installation teams to resolve technical issues.
* Ensure all manufacturing drawings comply with company standards.
* Maintain revision history and update cutlists whenever design changes occur.
* Prepare hardware quantity reports and BOM (Bill of Materials).
* Support production planning by providing accurate manufacturing documentation.
* Assist the factory team during production whenever technical clarification is required.
* Ensure timely release of cutlists as per project schedules.
## Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of modular furniture construction.
* Good understanding of plywood,HDHMR, laminates, acrylic, veneer, and edge banding.
* Knowledge of cabinet joinery methods such as Minifix, Confirmat Screws, Dowels, Cam Locks, etc.
* Ability to read architectural and interior production drawings.
* Good knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing standards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
## Software Knowledge
* AutoCAD
* SketchUp (Preferred)
* Excel
* Max Cut / IMOS / Polyboard (Preferred)
* CNC software knowledge (Added advantage)
## Qualification
* Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
#Experience
* 1-3 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing or interior production.
* Experience in factory production documentation and cutlist preparation is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
