We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented macOS Virtualization Engineer to manage and scale our custom-built macOS server infrastructure, running on Intel-based VMware environments.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of both macOS system administration and enterprise-grade virtualization, who can take ownership of setup, monitoring, support, and incident resolution.

Deploy and manage macOS virtual machines (VMs) on Intel-based VMware ESXi infrastructure.

Maintain and optimize the virtualization layer for stability and performance.

Handle provisioning, templating, backups, and automated deployment of macOS VMs.

Configure network services (IP assignments, firewall rules, NAT, DNS) for client-facing VMs.

Provide technical support for customers accessing their macOS instances via remote web-based console or VNC/SSH.

Monitor infrastructure health, logs, and usage patterns; proactively detect and resolve issues.

Maintain security through firewall configuration, access control, and patch management.

Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to improve infrastructure and CI/CD integrations.

Document procedures, playbooks, and known issues for internal and customer-facing use.

Proven experience with VMware ESXi and virtual machine lifecycle management.

Hands-on knowledge of macOS system administration, including Terminal, launch agents, and system daemons.

Familiarity with Intel-based server platforms (e.g., Xeon Gold/Platinum) and enterprise server hardware.

Strong networking knowledge (subnets, VLANs, IP provisioning, firewall/NAT).

Experience providing remote console access (HTML5 consoles, VNC, or custom portals).

Solid troubleshooting skills for both infrastructure and macOS-related issues.

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Knowledge of macOS automation (Bash, Zsh, AppleScript, configuration profiles).

Familiarity with Xcode build environments and mobile development workflows.

Experience working with customer-facing hosting platforms or remote desktop environments.

Exposure to storage systems (NAS/SAN) and backup tools for virtual machines.

Understanding of Apple licensing terms and how to maintain compliant macOS deployments.
