Job Summary
ILA Boutique is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Fashion Design Intern to gain hands-on experience in fashion design, garment production, tailoring, embroidery, and fashion education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing new collections.
- Create fashion sketches and mood boards.
- Support stitching, tailoring, garment construction, alterations, Aari work, embroidery, embellishments, and garment finishing.
- Assist with fabric sourcing, sample development, fittings, and quality checks.
- Coordinate with tailors and the production team.
- Assist in conducting theory and practical classes for new fashion design students, providing guidance during demonstrations and practical sessions.
- Help with styling garments for photoshoots and social media.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed a Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of fashion design, stitching, tailoring, garment construction, embroidery, and Aari work.
- Good communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
