About the Role
Megathil is hiring an experienced HR Consultant on behalf of our client to support HR operations and strategic HR initiatives. This is a contract position for 7–8 months, offering an excellent opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute to key HR functions.
High-performing candidates may be considered for full-time employment based on business requirements and individual performance during the contract period.
Experience Required
- 5–6 years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Experience in IT Services, Software, Technology, or similar industries preferred
- Strong exposure to HR operations, employee lifecycle management, recruitment, and compliance
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle activities
- Handle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding
- Coordinate employee induction, confirmation, probation reviews, and exit formalities
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, HRMS data, and MIS reports
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance requirements
- Provide payroll inputs and support compensation-related activities
- Ensure implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and stakeholders as required
- Support employee engagement, learning & development, employer branding, and training initiatives
- Assist management in HR-related projects and organizational development activities
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and labour laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination abilities
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and process orientation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end HR functions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred
- Comfortable working in a consultant/contract capacity for 7–8 months
