L35 - Software Engineer II
As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of scalable applications and technical solutions that help deliver quality outcomes for Deloitte teams and stakeholders. This role requires hands-on experience across modern application development, cloud deployment, and API engineering, with opportunities to work on AI-enabled solutions and evolving technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical execution, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a focus on delivering high-quality work products.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer II on the Application Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, desktop applications, and automation scripts using Python, C#/.NET, and related technologies; build and enhance Python-based applications and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
- Develop scalable solutions in accordance with established technical designs, development standards, and quality processes; contribute to the development of AI-powered applications using Azure Foundry.
- Collaborate with functional, development, and testing teams to support the design, delivery, and ongoing support of technical solutions.
- Deploy and support applications across Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform; use tools such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for coding, version control, and delivery activities.
- Participate in research, self-learning, and continuous improvement; work independently on assigned tasks, contribute to larger project teams, and prepare technical documentation and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio.

Team members work across engineering, functional, and testing disciplines to build scalable solutions using modern technologies and delivery practices. This team environment offers opportunities to contribute to application modernization, API development, and AI-enabled solutions while continuing to build technical depth.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience in web application development or application development with Python full-stack development, C#/.NET development, and Python web APIs
- Experience developing web applications, desktop applications, and automation scripts using Python, FastAPI, and Flask
- Experience with C#/.NET, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HyperText Markup Language (HTML), React.js, and AngularJS
- Experience deploying applications on Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for development, version control, and deployment activities
- Experience developing AI-enabled solutions using Azure Foundry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or Engineering
Preferred:
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure deployment pipelines, code management, and deployment processes
- Experience creating technical documentation and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
- Experience working across functional, development, and testing teams in a structured delivery environment
