Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer (Mechanical) with 3–5 years of experience in installation and maintenance activities. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring project activities, ensuring timely installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure completion within timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and maintenance activities.
- Prepare project reports, work schedules, technical documentation, and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at project sites.
- Manage manpower, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel when required.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installation and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of project coordination and site management.
- Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in project execution, installation, and maintenance.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Experience in industrial equipment, machinery, utilities, or plant maintenance will be preferred.
