Job Title: Operations Executive (Tech-Enabled)
Location: Sovabazar, Kolkata (Offline role)
Organisation: Institute of NeuroDevelopment (IND)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Institute of NeuroDevelopment (IND)
The Institute of NeuroDevelopment (IND) is a mission-driven organisation working at the intersection of neuroscience, child development, parent coaching, and structured implementation systems. IND operates through clearly defined process flows, monitoring systems, and accountability frameworks to ensure high-quality delivery of developmental programmes such as Bootcamps and the 1-Year Breakthrough Flightpath.
As IND scales, strong operations professionals form the backbone that translates vision into reliable, on-time execution.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Operations Executive with strong technical comfort who can execute defined process steps end-to-end, ensure deliverables move smoothly through each stage of execution, and take ownership of assigned operational responsibilities.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys structure, clarity, follow-through, and who can also apply independent judgment to improvise when real-life situations demand it.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Execution & Task Ownership
- Execute assigned steps within defined process flows (as per Flow Monitoring Sheets and SOPs).
- Ensure each task is taken to completion within stipulated timelines.
- Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables rather than only partial execution.
B. Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with relevant team members (clinical, media, sales, admin, etc.) to ensure dependencies are resolved.
- Follow up proactively to prevent delays or breakdowns in execution.
- Escalate bottlenecks with clarity and suggested solutions.
C. Technology & Systems Handling
- Work comfortably with computers, digital tools, CRMs, trackers, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Update records, trackers, and dashboards accurately and on time.
- Use tech tools (including AI tools where relevant) to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
D. Problem-Solving & Improvisation
- Apply own rationale and practical judgment when real-world scenarios don’t match written processes.
- Suggest process improvements based on ground-level execution experience.
- Adapt quickly while still respecting process intent and standards.
E. Quality, Timelines & Accountability
- Ensure outputs meet defined process standards.
- Track planned vs. actual timelines and take corrective action where required.
- Maintain documentation and evidence of task completion.
Skills & Competencies Required
Core Skills
- Strong operational discipline and execution focus
- High comfort with computers and digital tools
- Ability to follow structured processes without losing flexibility
- Strong ownership mindset — sees tasks through to completion
- Time management and prioritisation skills
Technical Comfort
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace
- Ability to learn CRMs, internal dashboards, and tracking systems quickly
- Familiarity with digital communication tools (email, WhatsApp, task managers)
Who This Role Is For
- Graduates or professionals with experience in operations, coordination, project execution, or process-driven roles
- Individuals who enjoy doing the work, not just planning it
- Candidates who prefer clarity, structure, and accountability
- People who want to build a long-term career in operations and systems execution
Growth Prospects at IND
- Opportunity to grow into a Senior Operations Executive / Process Coordinator / Central Operations Lead role
- Hands-on exposure to process design, execution tracking, and organisational systems
- Clear visibility of impact — your work directly affects service delivery quality
- Potential transition into project management or operations leadership roles as IND scales
Why Join IND
At IND, operations is not a support function — it is a core driver of impact.
If you enjoy structured execution, improving systems from within, and being accountable for real outcomes, this role will offer deep learning, responsibility, and growth.
