FinMKT, Inc. is a U.S.-based fintech company focused on delivering innovative financial technology solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable Financial Analyst based in India to support our U.S. finance and accounting operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, hands-on reconciliation experience, and the ability to work closely with U.S.-based teams during late India hours.
Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, accounting processes, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis. The individual must be highly organized, accurate, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, timeliness, and consistent communication are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform daily funding reconciliations for applications funded by various lenders.
● Create daily funding reports to support disbursements to retailers based on defined processes.
● Reconcile all partner reports to ensure they match funded application data and funding activity.
● Update application statuses on the reporting portal accurately and in a timely manner.
● Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal finance, operations, and technology teams.
● Assist with QA review of transactions, including check processing and ACH transactions.
● Support the creation of NACHA and non-NACHA files to facilitate funding activities.
● Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of financial processes and reconciliation activities.
● Support U.S.-based finance and operations teams with timely responses, follow-ups, and issue resolution.
● Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
● Work late evening hours in India to align with U.S. business hours.
● Be available to work on Indian holidays when required, while observing U.S. company holidays.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
● Prior experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial analysis.
● Strong hands-on experience with reconciliations.
● Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
● Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Comfortable working with U.S.-based teams and U.S. business timelines.

Work Hours and Holiday Policy
This position will be based in India but will support U.S. operations. The candidate must be willing to work late evening hours in India to ensure sufficient overlap with the U.S. team.
The role will follow the U.S. holiday calendar. The individual may be required to work on Indian holidays unless those holidays coincide with FinMKT’s U.S. holiday schedule.
