CLAIMS – Aon is a leading global professional services firm that provides a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions-including insurance broking and consulting. Insurance claims processing is a crucial part of the operations, evaluate, and settle a claim filed by a policyholder or beneficiary after suffering a covered loss or damage.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
- Responsible for receiving and reviewing new claims notifications from policyholders, brokers, or other channels. Verify claim information and enter details accurately inti the claims management system.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong focus on timeliness and SLA adherence
Capability to follow defined processes and procedures consistently
Ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently in high-volume environment
Ability to analyze data and validate correctness of information
Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
Basic Excel / data handling capability
Ability to communicate with internal teams and external clients
Exposure to customer communication in operational context
Strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality of output
Ability to work within defined controls and guidelines
High level of accuracy and reliability
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Flexibility and willingness to learn
Strong delivery-focused mindset (task execution with quality and timeliness)
Basic customer service orientation – understanding impact of work on downstream stakeholders
Attention to detail and accountability for data accuracy
Willingness to learn and improve processes
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Exposure to transactional processing / back-office operations
Experience working in international or service-driven environment
Basic knowledge of:
- Insurance processes (Claims / Policy Admin)
- Finance / accounting processes (Technical Accounting)
Basic understanding of:
- Claims handling and case lifecycle
- Policy / administrative processes
- Financial transactions (payments, reconciliation, collections)
