Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and confident Telecaller / Student Counsellor to join our team at Kallambalam. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students, understanding their educational requirements, explaining available courses, and converting enquiries into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on enquiries.
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up regularly with leads through calls and WhatsApp.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission/enquiry conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and admission teams.
- Handle student queries professionally and provide timely information.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in admission campaigns and promotional activities when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in telecalling, student counselling, admissions, sales, or a related role.
- Experience in an educational institution / training institute / college will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and counselling abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Malayalam.
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
