About Us:
The Business Development Franchise Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the company's retail franchise network by identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new franchise partners. The role involves market analysis, franchise sales, territory development, and building strong relationships with investors and franchisees to achieve sustainable business growth and strengthen the brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new franchise opportunities for the apparel/garments brand across assigned territories.
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential locations and expansion opportunities.
- Generate qualified franchise leads through networking, referrals, exhibitions, channel partners, and field visits.
- Present the company's franchise business model, investment plans, and profitability to prospective franchise partners.
- Evaluate franchise applicants based on financial capability, business experience, and location feasibility.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms, and coordinate franchise agreement execution.
- Work closely with retail operations, marketing, merchandising, design, finance, and legal teams to ensure successful franchise onboarding.
- Support franchise partners in store setup, launch planning, merchandising, branding, and inventory planning.
- Monitor franchise business performance and provide strategic guidance to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze competitor activities, retail trends, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, expansion plans, MIS reports, and business performance reviews.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise acquisition and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, Retail Management, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Development Franchise preferably in the garments, fashion, or lifestyle industry.
- Experience working with apparel retail brands and franchise business models is highly desirable.
