Mechanical Designer- Plastic
In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical solutions that directly contribute to the success of advanced healthcare systems. You will drive innovation, ensure robust product design, and enable predictable program execution from concept to production. Your contributions will enhance product performance, support regulatory compliance, and improve patient outcomes by enabling safe and effective medical technologies.
You will be part of a global, cross-functional engineering team collaborating closely with:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Software Engineering teams
- Program Managers and R&D leadership
- Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Supplier partners
- Global sites (e.g., Pune and international teams such as Best, NL)
- External suppliers and regulatory bodies
This role requires strong collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to drive execution excellence.
- Develop technical depth in advanced mechanical design, materials, and simulation technologies
- Gain exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle in a regulated (medical device) environment
- Strengthen leadership capabilities through mentoring, design ownership, and cross-functional influence
- Build expertise in system-level thinking, risk management, and design for manufacturability

Experience – Proven experience in mechanical design and product development within complex engineering environments (preferably regulated industries) Skills – Strong capabilities in Plastics design & evelopment, simulation (FEA), GD&T, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Additional – Demonstrated leadership mindset with the ability to drive execution, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
