Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing all marketing, branding, promotional, and advertising activities of the mall. The role focuses on increasing footfall, enhancing customer engagement, strengthening brand visibility, supporting tenant sales, and ensuring successful execution of events and campaigns. The Marketing Manager will coordinate with tenants, agencies, vendors, media partners, and internal departments to achieve the mall's business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and monthly marketing plans for the mall.
- Create strategies to increase customer footfall, brand awareness, and tenant sales.
- Plan seasonal campaigns, festive promotions, and special events.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
Branding & Promotions
- Maintain and strengthen the mall's brand image.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns across online and offline platforms.
- Ensure consistency in branding across all mall communication materials.
- Coordinate production of marketing collaterals, signage, and promotional materials.
Digital Marketing
- Manage social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate content creation, photography, videography, and creative designs.
- Monitor website updates and digital presence.
- Track campaign performance and generate reports on digital marketing activities.
Events & Activations
- Plan and execute mall events, exhibitions, roadshows, entertainment programs, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with event agencies, vendors, artists, and sponsors.
- Ensure smooth execution of all events within budget and timelines.
- Evaluate event performance and customer engagement.
Tenant Coordination
- Work closely with tenants to develop joint marketing and promotional activities.
- Support tenant store launches, sales campaigns, and special events.
- Collect and manage marketing contributions from tenants wherever applicable.
- Address marketing-related requirements and support tenant business growth.
Media & Public Relations
- Develop relationships with media agencies, influencers, and local publications.
- Manage press releases, media coverage, and public relations activities.
- Coordinate advertising campaigns across print, radio, outdoor, digital, and other media platforms.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
- Monitor marketing expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Evaluate return on investment (ROI) for marketing campaigns and events.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with advertising agencies, creative agencies, printers, digital marketing agencies, and event vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track footfall, campaign performance, customer engagement, and event outcomes.
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations for management.
- Recommend improvements based on marketing performance data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing preferred.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, branding, events, or mall/retail marketing.
- Experience in shopping malls, retail, hospitality, or commercial real estate preferred.
