Job Description
The job description for an Operations and Maintenance Solar Engineer typically includes the following responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of solar power plants to ensure maximum energy production, safety, and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and other relevant metrics.
- Manage O&M budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/ master’s degree/Diploma in Electrical engineering from an accredited university.
Skills Required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of technical specifications related to materials and engineering processes.
