Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that enhance the overall quality of software applications. The role includes integrating various components within the development ecosystem to ensure seamless delivery and robust performance. Throughout the day, the Quality Engineer actively participates in planning sessions, continuously monitors testing processes, and supports the configuration of data and environments to maintain optimal testing conditions. This position also involves reviewing code, identifying potential issues, and contributing to the refinement of testing methodologies to uphold high standards across the application lifecycle.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement automation strategies that improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and API testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to support quality assurance processes.
- Capability to participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and test coverage.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
