Job Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Assamese and Odia Language Experts to support a AI training and evaluation project. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing AI training content, optimizing model performance, and ensuring the integrity of AI-generated responses. You will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing content for accuracy, fluency, cultural appropriateness, and logical consistency across various domains.
Key Responsibilities:
● AI Training Content Development: Create high-quality prompts and gold-standard answers in Assamese or Odia across multiple domains, including general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
● AI Performance Optimization: Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, correctness, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
● Model Integrity & Quality Assurance: Detects and mitigate unsafe or misleading content, factual hallucinations, bias, and policy-risk language. Validate reliability across diverse use cases.
● Quality Feedback: Provide detailed, structured feedback in English to guide model improvements and ensure adherence to guidelines.
Requirements:
● Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Assamese/Odia/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
● Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in the target language (Assamese or Odia) with strong reading and writing skills.
● English Proficiency: Strong professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback.
● Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or other language-focused roles.
● Linguistic Expertise: Deep understanding of target-language grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style; ability to explain errors and provide corrections.
Versatility: Comfortable handling multiple registers, including formal and informal language, regional variations, and audience adaptation for India and diaspora users.
Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle meaning shifts, awkward literal translations, hallucinations, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
Work Style: Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly, cross-timezone contractor workflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation.
Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹800.00 per hour
