Technical Business Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams in delivering data, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business process understanding, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for engineering and delivery teams.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI teams to define solution requirements and priorities.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and digital transformation.
- Support data mapping, data validation, and process documentation activities.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Create user stories, process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications.
- Participate in solution testing, UAT, and production readiness activities.
- Track project deliverables and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Support AI and automation initiatives by identifying high-value business use cases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of data-driven applications, analytics, and enterprise systems.
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and tools.
- Ability to create process maps, user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications.
- Good understanding of SQL and data analysis concepts.
- Experience working with data platforms, reporting solutions, and API-based systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, testing, and implementation activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Snowflake, Dataiku, Tableau, Sigma, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT, and cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Experience with workflow automation and business process management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI use cases, intelligent document processing, and enterprise automation initiatives.
- Experience working in digital transformation programs.
