A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, installing, and maintaining wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and fittings as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
- Install doors, windows, partitions, cabinets, and furniture.
- Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
- Perform polishing, finishing, and fitting work when required.
- Inspect materials and completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow site safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good measurement and calculation skills.
- Attention to detail and workmanship quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in carpentry work.
- Experience in commercial buildings, facilities management, or construction projects is preferred.
Qualification:
- ITI Carpenter or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Relevant work experience can be considered in place of formal qualification.
Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
