- Experience with financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, commodities) and posttrade processes (clearing, settlement, risk management).
- Testing Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies across:
- Functional testing: UAT, regression, integration, end-to-end.
- Non-functional testing: Performance, security, resiliency, compliance.
- Develop test governance models, risk-based testing approaches, and enforce QA best practices.
- Drive automation-first and shift-left testing strategies across teams.
- Technology & Automation
- Strong grasp of programming concepts, coding standards, and test frameworks (e.g., Java, Python,
JavaScript).
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and low-code automation tools
(e.g., Tosca, Katalon Studio).
- Experience in API testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and knowledge of connectivity protocols (e.g.,
TCP/IP, FIX, WebSockets).
- Understanding of microservices testing, contract testing, and containerized environments.
- Understanding of system design concepts such as scaling, load balancing, resilience etc.
- AI and the Future of Automation
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications in test
automation.
- Ability to drive AI-driven automation initiatives across business and process automation domains.
- Knowledge of self-healing test automation, predictive analytics for defect detection, and intelligent test data management.
- DevOps & CI/CD Integration
- Experience in continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure
DevOps).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) for real-time monitoring of test environments.

- Expertise in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, k6).
