Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Media Manager to manage the school's digital presence through engaging visual content, photography, videography, and social media. The ideal candidate should be skilled in creating high-quality videos, capturing school events, and developing content that reflects the school's culture, achievements, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for school events, celebrations, campaigns, admissions, and promotional activities.
- Capture professional photographs of classrooms, events, competitions, and daily school life.
- Create engaging reels, short-form videos, and promotional content for social media platforms.
- Design basic graphics, posters, and digital creatives for announcements and campaigns.
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain the school's social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop and execute a monthly content calendar.
- Write engaging captions and relevant hashtags.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages professionally.
- Track social media performance and prepare monthly analytics reports.
Branding & Marketing
- Ensure all content aligns with the school's brand identity and communication guidelines.
- Support the admissions team with marketing campaigns and promotional videos.
- Create student success stories, parent testimonials, teacher introductions, and campus tour videos.
- Cover all major school events and prepare highlight videos.
Video Production
- Conceptualize video ideas and scripts.
- Operate cameras, lighting, microphones, and other recording equipment.
- Edit videos using professional editing software.
- Add music, subtitles, animations, transitions, and branding elements.
- Deliver content within agreed timelines.
Website & Digital Presence
- Coordinate with the website team for media updates.
- Upload photos, videos, and event highlights to digital platforms.
- Maintain an organized archive of photos and video assets.
Required Skills
- Excellent videography and photography skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn content strategies.
- Strong storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, Film Production, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in media management, videography, social media, or digital content creation (school or education sector experience is preferred).
- A portfolio showcasing video editing, photography, and social media content is mandatory.
