Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
Reporting To: Procurement Officer
Salary: ₹3.5 – ₹5.0 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time as per approved BOM and production requirements.
- Source and procure raw materials such as Stainless Steel (SS), Mild Steel (MS), Aluminium, mechanical components, fasteners, tools, and consumables.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Verify quality documents, test certificates, and material compliance before acceptance.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and identify new vendors for cost optimization.
- Track procurement activities through ERP systems and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Generate MIS reports and procurement-related analytics for management review.
- Participate in procurement review meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive cost reduction, vendor development, and process improvement activities.
Desired Candidate ProfileExperience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in the Procurement Department of an Engineering Equipment Manufacturing Company.
- Experience working within a procurement team of 3–4 members.
- Strong exposure to procurement of engineering raw materials and components.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial) OR
- B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in ERP Procurement Modules.
- Experience in generating MIS reports and procurement analytics.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (G-Suite) and MS Excel.
